Kamaldeen Sulemana looks forward to rematch against South Korea

Black Stars winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has expressed his excitement to face South Korea in Tuesday’s friendly match, citing the team's confidence and quality to secure a win.

Speaking to the media ahead of the match, Sulemana acknowledged the toughness of the opposition, stating, "I think it's going to be a good match. It's going to be a tough game for us. But I also think we can beat them."

The Atalanta midfielder was part of the Black Stars squad that faced South Korea at the World Cup in 2022, where Ghana emerged victorious in a closely contested match. While acknowledging the changes in the South Korean team since their last encounter, Sulemana emphasized the importance of being prepared for their strengths.

"We know their strength. We know they have good players from the back all the way to the front," Sulemana said. "I think we have the quality to beat them. We are going to try to do that."

Sulemana expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to showcase Ghana's capabilities on the international stage, stating, "We are very excited to be here. It's an opportunity for each and every one of us to show the world what we are capable of." he said.

The match against South Korea is scheduled to take place at the World Cup Stadium on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

The match will kick-off at 8pm (Korea Time) – 11am (Ghana Time).
