Joe Nana Adarkwa confirms Black Maidens squad for U17 World Cup Qualifier against Togo
Ahead of the upcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Togo, Joe Nana Adarkwa head Coach of Black Maidens has named a 22-player squad.
The squad features a blend of promising talent across all departments, with three goalkeepers Rahima Abubakari Napari, Belinda Maku Aklie, and Josephine Nyanfule.
Seven players were selected to form a solid backline including Hajara Adams, Rafia Osman, Seraphina Esse Essenam, Janet Amewudor, Gifty Agyeiwaa Senior, Juliana Gyekeyewaa, and Philipa Asana Mannebe.
The midfield unit includes captain Seidatu Wahab, Zeinab Shani, Daniela Abass, Benedicta Nketiah Danso, Sekinatu Amadu, Mavis Yeboah, and Ruth Ayayee, poised to offer creativity and control in the centre of the park.
Leading the attack are Jessica Appiah Asamoah, Cynthia Obinsrewuo, Gloria Ameaa Adomako, Linda Achiaa, and Priscilla Mensah, who will be tasked with delivering the goals as the team pushes for qualification.
The team has since arrived in Togo and lodging at the EL Doria Hotel, Baguida Plague,Lomé.
The game is slated for Stadeé de Kegue de Lomé on Sunday April, 12 at 16:00GMT.
