Black Queens head coach, Kim Lars Björkegren is expected to arrive in Accra on Friday, May 29, as preparations continue for upcoming national team assignments.

Coach Kim will attend and observe the ongoing Black Queens B screening exercise and camping programme currently being led by Coach Yusif Basigi.

The screening exercise involves selected home-based players being assessed to form the core of the team and also for possible inclusion in the senior national team setup.

Coach Kim’s presence is expected to provide an opportunity for closer evaluation of locally based talents while working together with the technical staff on future plans for the Black Queens.

Meanwhile, the main Black Queens team is expected to open camp a few days after the screening exercise as preparations intensify for upcoming international engagements.

The continued assessment of domestic players forms part of efforts by the GFA to widen the player pool and build a competitive squad for future competitions.
