Sena Ati gave Hohoe United an early lead in the 9th minute, and Farouk Mohammed added a brace in the 11th and 35th minutes. Fiifi Hammond pulled one back for FC Nania in the 86th minute. Hohoe United have accumulated 63 points from 27 Access Bank Division One League matches.
Elsewhere, contenders Port City FC were held to a goalless stalemate at True Democracy, creating an unexpected twist in the title race. Both sides had numerous scoring chances but couldn’t capitalize on them. Port City FC remains second in the table with 58 points – 5 points behind the leaders with three matches to end the season.
Former Premier League side Inter Allies came from a goal down to secure a crucial 2-1 win at Home Stars FC, keeping their survival hopes alive. Felix Doku Narh scored first for Home Stars in the 35th minute, while Nader Nado Sadou equalized for Inter Allies two minutes after halftime. Kelvin Owusu sealed the win for Inter Allies in the 75th minute. They are currently 14th in the league table with 27 points after 27 matches.
