Hearts name majority investor as chairman

Premier League side, Accra Hearts of Oak have confirmed the appointment of Togbui Afede XIV as chairman of the club's new reconstituted board.

The investment banker takes over following changes in the club’s shareholding structure after it went public last year to raise GHS 2.5 million.

Togbui Afede is now the single majority shareholder in the club with nearly 40 percent stake.

Other persons on the eleven-member board are E. M. Commodore-Mensah, Alhasan Adani, CEO of the club Fred Crentsil, Apiigy Afenu, Frank Nelson Nwokolo, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Professor Kofi Kumado, Hon. David Lamptey, Judge Ivy Heward-Mills and Alhaji Moro Akabi.
