Hearts of Oak missed the chance to close the gap at the summit of the Premier League as they played out a 1-1 draw at home with King Faisal.

Though the Phobians return to the second position, they are now four points behind their rivals, Asante Kotoko who won on Saturday.

David Duncan's side might rue the missed opportunity but judging by the outcome of the game, they will be happy with a point earned.

Faisal, who have only won once against the Phobians in Accra in their 31 meetings opened the scoring through Sulemana Mohammed.

However, Hearts of Oak were spared their blushes when Romeo Abban drew them level before they spurned the many opportunities that came their way.
