Accra Hearts of Oak could only draw goalless at Bechem as they miss the chance to keep the pressure on rivals Asante Kotoko.
The Phobians are two points off Kotoko who won their late kick off fixture going into the final round of matches for the first round.
In a game that Hearts were tipped to have romped in the goals, they could only see a goal scored by Mahatma Otoo against the relegation threatened side disallowed in the first half by referee Reginald Lathbridge.
Hearts would now be hoping to maintain their spot in second and mount the pressure at the top.
