Former Champions Hasaacas Ladies cruised to a 2-1 win over Army Ladies in the top of the table clash in the Southern Zone. Both sides went into the game with an unbeaten run after four Matchdays but it was Hasaacas Ladies who came out victorious at the Gyandu Park.

The game lived up to the bilking after failing to produce goals in the first half. Nine minutes into the second half, Mukarama Abdullai was fouled in the box and Fidous Yakubu converted from the spot to give the doo ladies the lead. But Vera Bema equalised for Army Ladies in the 70th minute.

With two minutes left on the clock to end proceedings, Alice Sarpong scored a wonder goal to give her side the points. The defeat in Takoradi is the first one for ArmyLadies this season.

In Accra, Berry Ladies edged visitors Lady Strikers 2:1 at the Madina AstroTurf. The visitors coming into this game had lost two games on the spin and looked determined to make amends against a Berry Ladies side that lost to Hasaacas Ladies last weekend.

The visitors shot into the lead in the 54th minute through Asana Hamidu but their celebration was short lived as Berry Ladies as Doreen Graham fetched the equalizer in the 58th minute. Berry Ladies later grabbed the winner through Janet Korkor Osei in the 88th minute.

Essiam Socrates lost 2-1 to Soccer Intellectuals at home. Jennifer Agyei Mensah and Mary Boateng scored to give Soccer Intellectuals a 2-0 lead before Hannah Nyame converted a 60th minute penalty for Essiam Socrates.
