Gyan under observation after suffering injury

Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan has undergone medical tests after pulling out of training today's ahead of Thursday's African Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique in Accra.

 Gyan sustained what initially appeared to be a significant injury to his left thigh. However, the tests have revealed that Gyan suffered a sprain on his hamstring.

The Ghana medical team will continue to monitor the Black Stars captain and an update will be provided if necessary.
