Great Olympics come from behind to beat Nsoatreman

Accra Great Olympics worked their sox off to beat Nsoatreman FC 2-1 in the betPawa Premier League at the Accra Sports stadium on Monday.

The Dade Boys conceded in the first half but rallied from behind to extend their unbeaten home run.

Emmanuel Antwi scored a brace for the Wonder Club in a come from behind win.

Nsoatreman FC drew the first blood in the 15th minute against the run of play through Mohammed Abdul Rahman.

Abdul Rahman connected a flicked pass from Mark Agyekum to slot home the opener following a long throw-in.

Back from the break, Great Olympics drew level in the 55th minute through midfielder Emmanuel Antwi. The forward planted home a stunning free-kick from the edge of the box.

Antwi netted again to turn the corner in favor of Great Olympics to complete their comeback win.

The midfielder was on hand to connect a delightful cross from substitute Francis Twene.

The win moves Great Olympics to the third spot in the league standings with 15 points - one point behind Nsoatreman FC and three points behind leaders Aduana FC.

Nsoatreman FC will travel to Tarkwa to take on champions Medeama SC in an outstanding game on Thursday before hosting Real Tamale United at Nsoatre while Accra Great Olympics do battle with Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams - Dawu.
