Great Olympics beat WAFA SC to record first win, Okwahu United draw with FC Nania in Access Bank Division One League Zone Three

Accra Great Olympics finally ended their six-game winless run in the Access Bank Division One League this season with a 1–0 victory over WAFA SC in Sogakope. The win marked not only their first of the campaign but also their first league triumph since April 2025. Islam Mohammed scored the decisive goal in the 78th minute after a goalless first half. Despite the victory, the former Premier League side remains in the relegation zone with just six points.

Former Premier League side Okwawu United dropped points for the third consecutive time this season after playing out a highly intense 2–2 draw away to FC Nania. Collins Ntiful opened the scoring for Okwawu United in the 12th minute, but Joshua Selorm Adjei equalized for the hosts in the 28th minute before halftime. After the break, Peter Fiifi Hammond put FC Nania ahead in the 50th minute, only for Gideon Ofori Offei to level the score with a stunning strike in the 69th minute. Okwawu United have now accumulated 11 points from seven matches.

Port City FC climbed to the top of the Zone Three league table after securing their second consecutive win with a 2–0 victory over Inter Allies at the Kukurantumi Ohene Park. The win also extended their impressive home unbeaten run to 19 matches. Bernard Quarcoo and Korblah Junior scored two decisive first-half goals to seal the result for the hosts. Port City FC have now registered 14 points from seven matches.
