An Accra High Court presided over by Justice Anthony Yeboah has dismissed Great Olympics' application for an interlocutory injunction on the commencement of the Ghana Premier League and the Division One League.

The relegated Premier League side served a writ on the GFA together with a motion on notice to be granted an interlocutory injunction earlier this month.

The club sought to prevent the GFA from launching the league, from starting both leagues without Accra Great Olympics as a Premier League club.

However in his ruling, Justice Yeboah dismissed the application in his ruling delivered on Thursday 15th March, 2018.

The court's ruling therefore paves way for the Ghana Premier League and the Division One League to commence.
