Ghana's Princesses reach Japan 2012

Ghana beat Tunisia 4-1 at home on Saturday to claim a second consecutive qualification to the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The win at the Accra Sports Stadium on a wet afternoon completes a 7-2 aggregate win for the Black Princesses to pick one of the two qualifying slots for Africa.

Tunisia drew first blood in the first half lead through Chaima Albassito end the opening half 1-0.

Ghana returned from the break much stronger and Elizabeth Addo levelled just after the interval before Alice Eva Danso put the Black Princesses in front when she scored to make it 2-1.

Candies Osei-Agyemang, based in the United States scored her debut Ghana goal to give the Black Princesses a two-goal cushion.

Addo finished wrapped up victory when she scored her personal second.

Ghana made their World Cup debut in the Germany 2010 finals and will be heading to Japan for the next finals from August 19 to September 8.
