Ghanaian Referee Daniel Laryea and Julius Emunah appointed to key roles in CHAN Semifinal

Ghanaian referee Daniel Nii Laryea will oversee VAR duties in the semifinal match of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) between Morocco and Senegal. Having been one of the standout performers in the tournament, Laryea will serve as the main VAR official when the two nations face off in Kampala in search of a spot in the final.

Additionally, our Director of Competitions, Julius Emunah, who has managed the tournament's security operations at Kampala throughout, has been appointed as the Security Officer for this crucial match.

The highly anticipated game is set to take place at the Kampala National Stadium on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
