Ghana will learn its group opponents for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations 2026 following the release of the draw procedures by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The Black Sharks qualified for the 2026 edition after beating arch-rivals Nigeria 10-7 on aggregate following a 3-3 draw in Nigeria and a 7-4 win in Keta. Qualification for the 2026 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations represents an important opportunity for Ghana to compete against the continent's best teams.

The Black Sharks last participated in the competition in 2024 and have since been working towards a return to the continental stage.

According to CAF, the official draw for the Final Tournament will take place on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, at 16:00 (Cairo local time), at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

Eight teams have qualified for the tournament: Angola, Ghana, Malawi, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Senegal and Uganda.

According to the procedures, host and defending champions Senegal will be automatically allocated to position A1 in Group A, while runners-up of the 2024 edition, Mauritania, will be allocated to position B1 in Group B.

The remaining six teams have been distributed into three pots based on CAF's ranking for the last three editions:

  • Pot 1: Morocco, Mozambique
  • Pot 2: Malawi, Uganda
  • Pot 3: Ghana, Angola

The draw will start with Pot 3, followed by Pot 2 and Pot 1. The first team drawn from Pot 3 will be allocated to Group A in position A4, while the second will go to Group B in position B4. The same procedure will be repeated for Pot 2 and Pot 1.
