Ghana will host the U-20 WAFU A&B Boys Cup in Accra in June, following the successful hosting of the CAF African Schools Football Championship at the University of Ghana Stadium in April.
The tournament, scheduled from June 15 to 30, June 2025 will feature all 16 countries in the West African region, including Cape Verde, The Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Mali, Liberia, Mauritania, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote D'Ivoire, Niger, Nigeria, Togo, and host Ghana.
This tournament will be the first of its kind at the U-20 level, following separate tournaments in WAFU A and WAFU B that also serve as qualifications for the U-20 CAF Africa Cup of Nations.
The U-20 WAFU A&B Boys Cup will take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, with the final set for the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra.
The tournament offers countries of both WAFU zones more competition and football development at the youth level in the season.
