Ghana has made it into the semi-finals stage of the 2015 African Cup of Nations for the fifth successive time after beating Guinea 3-0 on Sunday.

A brace from winger Christian Atsu and a goal from Kwesi Appiah helped Ghana brush aside Guinea in the quarter-finals match played at the Estadio de Malabo.

Atsu shot the Black Stars in to an early lead when he latched on to a back heel pass from Andre Ayew to beat Yattara in post for the Guineans.

Kwesi Appiah whose pass found Ayew to set up Ghana's opener, added the second goal of the day after he cleverly picked a loose ball from behind the Guinean defence to slot home just a minute to halftime.

Atsu added his second and Ghana's third of the day in the second half with an audacious strike which caught Yattara off his line.

Ghana will now face hosts Equatorial Guinea in the semi-finals match which will be played at the Estadio de Malabo on Thursday.
