Ghana pull win over Togo in Wafu Cup

Ghana's hopes of a Wafu Cup success got off to good start with the local component of the team beating Togo 2-0 in their opening game in Nigeria.

The Black Stars are also paired with Burkina Faso and Liberia in group B in the eight-nation competition which kicked off on Friday.

The competition is the first in six years since Ivory Coast hosted it back in 2004.

The eight-nation competition is constituted by countries in the sub-region and it will run till Sunday, April 18.
