Ghana and Asante Kotoko legend Opoku Nti to chair Division One League Super Cup Committee

Ghana and Asante Kotoko legend Opoku Nti will chair the Division One League Super Cup Committee. The 1982 African Sportswriters Associations footballer of the year who won the Africa Cup of Nations with the Black Stars in Libya and the Africa Clubs Championship with Asante Kotoko, has been put in charge of the off season second tier competition.

Former Vice Chairman of the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association Dickson Kyere Duah will serve as Vice Chairman of the Committee.

The Division One League Super Cup is an off season competition that gives clubs more games outside the League by adding to the limited number of games that are played in the course of the season.

Division One League clubs play a maximum of 30 League games plus a maximum of seven games in the MTN FA Cup. Top two teams in each zone at the end of the season and two of the third best placed teams participate in the Super Cup competition.
