GFA trains Premier League Clubs on Competitions Management Systems ahead of 2026/27 Season
The Football Association has organised a Competitions Management Systems (CMS) training programme for Ghana Premier League clubs as part of preparations for the start of the 2026/27 football season.
The one-day virtual training session, held on Monday, August 31, 2026, brought together representatives of Premier League clubs to enhance their understanding and effective use of the Club Management System (CMS) ahead of the new campaign.
The session was led by the Director of IT and Deputy General Secretary, Francis Essah Adu, together with the Acting Director of Competitions, Maxwell Caesar Kemeh.
Discussions focused on the usage, structure and operational model of the Club Management System, with participants taken through the various features and processes designed to support the smooth administration and management of football competitions.
The Competition Management System is a modern digital platform used across the world to simplify and improve the organisation of football competitions. The software provides an integrated system that supports key competition-related activities, making the management of leagues and matches more efficient, accurate and accessible.
The use of the CMS is expected to enhance communication, improve record-keeping and streamline several administrative processes associated with the organisation of the Ghana Premier League and other domestic competitions.
The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to kick off from September 4 to September 7, 2026, with clubs now completing their final preparations ahead of another exciting campaign.
