GFA and betPawa to organise LRB Technical Training for Women’s Premier League Team Managers on Sept 10
The Football Association in collaboration with betPawa, will host a Locker Room Bonus (LRB) Technical Training for team managers of Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League clubs on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Best Western Premier Hotel, Airport, Accra.
The one-day workshop is part of the continuous efforts to enhance the technical capacity of stakeholders within Ghanaian football. Specifically, the training will focus on equipping team managers with the knowledge and practical tools necessary to effectively implement and manage the Locker Room Bonus scheme in their respective clubs.
Introduced and funded by betPawa, the Locker Room Bonus has been an exclusive feature of the men’s Premier League in recent seasons. Now, for the first time, the initiative will be extended to women’s football, with the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League set to benefit when the 2025/26 season kicks off in October.
The GFA and betPawa remain dedicated to fostering innovation, motivation, and inclusivity across Ghanaian football, ensuring that both male and female players are recognised and rewarded for their performances on the field.
