The shortlist for the Nasco player of the month award for October/November in the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League has been announced, with four standout performers earning recognition for their exceptional early-season form. The nominees include Anita Yeboah (Fosu Royal Ladies), Ajegipina Zakaria (Ampem Darkoa Ladies), Agnes Yeboah (Jonina Ladies), and Deborah Afriyie (Police Ladies), a group whose numbers underline their influence across both the Southern and Northern Zones.

Anita Yeboah – Fosu Royal Ladies

Arguably the league’s most electric forward of the period, Anita Yeboah impressed with 6 goals in 4 matches, adding 2 MVP awards as she powered Fosu Royals’ attack. Her sharp movement and clinical finishing have turned her into one of the early frontrunners for the league’s golden boot.

Ajegipina Zakaria – Ampem Darkoa Ladies

The defending champions continue to shine through their star forward, with Ajegipina Zakaria enjoying a brilliant run of form. She recorded 5 goals in 4 matches, also claiming 2 MVP honours, and remains a central figure in Ampem Darkoa’s bid to maintain their dominance.

Agnes Yeboah – Jonina Ladies

Despite featuring in only two matches, Agnes Yeboah’s impact has been undeniable. She scored 2 goals, earned 1 MVP award, and delivered performances making her nomination particularly impressive given the limited game time.

Deborah Afriyie – Police Ladies

A model of consistency and work rate, Deborah Afriyie contributed 2 goals in 4 matches, with her performances earning 1 MVP award. Her influence has gone beyond numbers, providing leadership and balance in midfield for Police Ladies.

The winner of the monthly award goes home with a 43" NASCO digital satellite TV and a five-burner gas stove.
