Four Ghanaian coaches have been selected to participate in the UEFA B Licence Coaching Course organised by the Football Association of Wales (FAW).

Black Galaxies assistant coach Godwin Ashitey Attram, Black Satellites assistant coach Winfred Dormon, National U-15 coach Fatawu Salifu and Hearts of Oak assistant coach Abdulai Gazale will travel to Wales for the programme, which is scheduled to run from Thursday, January 29 to Friday, February 20, 2026.

The FAW, which is funding part of the trip, is hosting the course as part of its broader collaboration with the Ghana Football Association (GFA). The partnership aims to enhance coach development and expand future opportunities for technical exchange between the two federations.

The GFA, for its part, is covering the full cost of the course as well as the flights for the four participating coaches, ensuring they are fully supported as they embark on this important developmental journey.

Through this cooperation, Ghanaian coaches now gain direct access to the FAW’s respected coaching education pathway.

The participation of the four coaches marks another step toward strengthening technical expertise and supporting the long-term growth of Ghanaian football, in line with the ‘Power to the Youth’ initiative, which is designed to develop young talent, build coaching capacity and create sustainable pathways for the future.
