Fosu Royal Ladies secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Tamale Super Ladies in a fiercely contested game at the Tolon Astro Turf on Sunday. Forward Abubakari Rahina's strike in the 12th minute proved decisive, handing Tamale Super Ladies an early lead.

The visitors' pressure paid off in the 35th minute when centre-back Osman Rafia scored an own goal to cancel out the home side's lead.
