In stoppage time, substitute Kelvin Appiah emerged as the hero, slotting home a close-range winner to hand Pac Academy all three points. The loss ended Ebusua Dwarfs’ impressive seven-game unbeaten run (W5, D2) and leaves them three points behind leaders AshantiGold 04.
In Bekwai - FC AshantiGold 04 returned to the summit with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Police National at Gyamfi Park in Bekwai. Richmond Fosu converted a 70th minute penalty to secure the win after a goalless first half. AshantiGold 04 now lead the Zone Two table with 40 points from 20 matches.
Sefwi All Stars FC suffered a setback in their title challenge, falling 1-0 to relegation-threatened UCC-Youngsters at the Robert Mensah Stadium. Annan Kwei converted a 69th-minute penalty to earn a vital win for UCC-Youngsters.
