The family of H.E Emmanuel Kwadwo Adu, a former Vice-Chairman of the GFA, were at the Secretariat on Tuesday, January 27, to officially inform the leadership of his passing. The late H.E Emmanuel Kwadwo Adu was Vice-Chairman of the Ghana Football Association from 1992-1994. He was also an avid sponsor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asante Kotoko Football Club from 1994-1996.
The late Emmanuel Kwadwo Adu served as Ghana’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland before moving to Benin and was the West African representative of Scancem International, and CEO of Judah (Alabado) Ltd.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Akyem Abenase in the Eastern Region.
