Ghana are just a game away from the finals of the women's competition at the All Africa Games despite having to play a final group game.
The Black Princesses secured their place in the last four after winning their second consecutive game in Group B, 2-1 over Zimbabwe, the same scoreline they recorded in the opening fixture against Tanzania.
Though Kuuku Dadzie's side have to face South Africa next to wrap up the group campaign, Faiza Ibrahim, scorer of the winning goal on Thursday against Zimbabwe is already hopeful of a trophy success.
“We can return home with the trophy but our next game against the South Africans will be tough but my colleagues and I confident we will beat them,” Faiza told Joy fm.
A win over South Africa would preserve Ghana's 100 per cent record at the competition going into the last four stage.
