Executive Council member Eugene Nobel welcomes teams to the inaugural Girl's U-15 Elite Championship at Prampram

On Tuesday, Executive Council member Eugene Nobel officially welcomed regional teams to the inaugural U-15 Elite Girls Championship at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram.

He urged them to seize the opportunity to showcase their talent and assured them of the Association's support for women's football development.

"On behalf of President Kurt Okraku, it's my pleasure to welcome you to this historic maiden U15 girls’ championship’’ he said.

‘’This marks a significant milestone in Ghana's women's football, showcasing immense talent and potential. The GFA is committed to providing a platform for talented individuals to shine, learn, and grow’’.

‘’I thank President Okraku for his unwavering support and vision. His leadership has made this championship a reality. To our young footballers, seize this opportunity to showcase your skills, make memories, and forge careers.

‘’This championship is about talent identification, skill development, and representing your regions with pride. I wish you all the best, and may the tournament be a success." Eugene Nobel added.

The tournament runs from October 14-19, 2025, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
