The GFA Executive Committee has approved the Match Review Panel's recommendation in respect of the Ghana Premier League match between Asante Kotoko and Liberty Professionals played on February 12.
The Match Review Panel reviewed the video of the match to ascertain whether Referee Timothy Obuobisa awarded a bad penalty to Asante Kotoko in the 57th minute.
The panel observed from the video that Referee Timothy Obuobisa was right in awarding the penalty in favour of Asante Kotoko.
Consequently the panel's recommendation not to sanction Referee Timothy Obuobisa was upheld.
