Eastern Regional Football Association appoints new League Board for 2021/22 season

The Executive Council of the Eastern Regional Football Association (ERFA), has appointed a ten Member League Board to spearhead the organization of the 2021/22 Regional Division Two League.

The new Board whose mandate spans a year started their tenure on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

The Board is chaired by Augustus Nana Boateng a veteran football administrator whose experience in Ghana football spans over three decades. Others include Solomon Yamoah - Vice Chairman, Nancy Annan Mensah – Secretary and Martin Owusu Asare. Also on the Board are Nurudeen Samudeen, Joseph Sedinam Normenor, David Amankwah, Alfred Attipo – Member, Mohammed Tauri and Awal Yusif.

The League Board is tasked to control and manage the Division Two League following GFA/RFA Regulations, GFA Statutes, and other Rules and Regulations governing football.

They are obliged to operate transparently and declare a Regional champion to compete in next season’s National Division One League and the MTN FA Cup.

Chairman of the Committee, Nana Boateng thanked the Regional Football Association for giving them the opportunity to serve.

He further assured that the committee would provide a significant face lift to football in the Eastern Region.
