Dreams FC whip Bofoakwa Tano to move out of relegation zone

League Champions Medeama SC scored in the first half to beat Accra Great Olympics 1-0 in their outstanding Ghana Premier League game at Akoon Park in Tarkwa. The Champions, who were 12 points behind leaders FC Samartex before the game, are now within 9 points off the top – with two more games in hand.

After an explosive opening to the game, full back Mamudu Kamaradini opened the scoring in the 31st minute after heading home from close range to give his side the lead.

Great Olympics took the game to the Tarkwa lads after the interval - in desperate need for the equalizer but the League champions held on to win the contest.

Another TotalEnergies CAF inter club campaigners Dreams FC whip Bofoakwa Tano 3-1 at the theatre of Dreams in Dawu to move out of the relegation zone. Agyenim Boateng and youngster Abdul Aziz scored in the first half to give Dreams FC a 2-0 cushioning before the teenager added his second of the day in the 81st minute to wrap things up for the MTN FA Champions.

The Still Believe lads shot into the lead in the 4th minute through Agyenim Boateng Mensah before Abdul Aziz added the second goal just on the brink of half time.

Dreams FC are now 14th in the League log with 18 points – with two games in hand while Medeama SC now climbs to the 9th spot with 23 points.
