Dong Bortey handed 12-month suspension

A Disciplinary Committee ruling has found Aduana Stars forward Bernard Dong-Bortey guilty of abusing a match referee.

Dong-Bortey has been issued a suspension for a period of 12 months.

The player assaulted the center referee during an MTN FA Cup Round of 64 match with King Solomon on 21 January 2012.

Following the incident at the Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa, a disciplinary hearing was opened against Dong-Bortey for misconduct.
