Ghana international Chris Dickson has completed a move from the English Championship to Cyprus.

The former Charlton striker who was available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at The Valley, has agreed a move to Nea Salamis Famagusta.

Dickson, 25-year-old has agreed a two-year deal at the Cypriot second division side.

And he is relishing the chance of plying his trade abroad after an indifferent time at Charlton as Nea Salamis Famagusta hope to bounce back to the top flight following their relegation from the first division last season.

"I am excited about this new challenge of playing abroad," Dickson told skysports.com.

"I am happy with the move and I am hoping to help Nea Salamis win promotion back to the top flight."
