Deputy Works and Housing Minister Hon. Gizella Tetteh welcomes Women’s Zonal championship teams to Senya

Hon. (Mrs.) Gizella Tetteh, Deputy Minister for Water, Works, and Housing and Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, paid a working visit to teams in Group A of the ongoing Women's Division One Zonal Championship playoffs.

Accompanied by Central Regional Football Association Chairman Robert Otieku Duncan, Senya District Chief Eexecutive Sampson Abbey Armah, and Executive of the ruling NDC, Hon. Tetteh-Agbotui officially welcomed the six participating teams and GFA officials to the district. She expressed gratitude to the GFA for choosing Senya District as the host venue for the championship playoffs.

In her address to the players, Hon. Tetteh-Agbotui encouraged them to stay focused on their dreams, emphasizing that the playoffs serve as a stepping stone to potentially securing a spot in the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League.

The Honorable Minister and her delegation watched the thrilling match between Sissamba Ladies and Oak FC, which ended 2:1 in favor of the Phobians.
