The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) have announced that it has pulled out its members from all the football leagues in the country.

The decision by the clubs' body comes after Tuesday's raid in the offices of the Ghana Football Association by the Economic and Organised Crimes Office (EOCO) which lead to the removal of nine computer processing units (CPUs) and files by the state agency after securing a court warrant via an ex-parte motion.

GHALCA chairman Emmanuel Adotey confirmed the suspension of the leagues following their meeting Wednesday.

"We have decided to suspend all leagues indefinitely until investigations by the EOCO are complete.

"We also want the EOCO to come clear on the motives of their operations at the GFA Secretariat."

By GHALCA's decision clubs would not be involved in the Glo Premier League, Division One, Two and Three football leagues until further notice.

According to Adotey, the confiscation of equipments and files has necessitated their pulling out since various decisions including disciplinary cannot be confirmed and communicated to all affected clubs and players.

The Economic and Organised Crime Unit in a letter two months ago [October] requested within 48 hours for all contracts signed by the Ghana Football Association with some sponsors.

A reply [October 14] for an extension sought by the GFA to produce their requests has until this moment not been responded to.

However, there's a pending court suit filed against the state-body over their remit in the issue in question.
