Club Licensing Officer visits New TNA Stadium Construction site

The Ghana Football Association's Licensing Manager, Julius Ben Emunah last week paid a working visit to the construction site of the new Tarkwa and Abosso Stadium.

The close to 13,000 seater stadium is been sponsored by mining giants GoldFields Ghana limited and when completed will host both domestic and international football matches.

In view of this, the GFA initiated a proactive and compliance approach with the sponsors and premier league club Medeama SC two years ago before the construction visit.

The former Licensing Manager of the FA and CAF Stadium Inspector Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi began this colloborative process to ensure that the facility when completed will meet all required standards and specifications.

In his second visit to the facility, the Manager was received by Engineers from both GoldFields Ghana Limited and the Contractors Michilletti Constructions. Also present were officials of Medeama SC who assisted on arranging the visit.

The Manager, in appreciating the progress of work also discussed with the engineers some of the modifications and latest improvements as being implemented by CAF and FIFA across the continent.

There shall be subsequent visits at the facility before the expected completion.

The GFA wishes to reiterate to all stakeholders, private and public investors that the doors of the GFA is opened to offer consultancy services to aid the constructions of modern stadiums and pitches.
