The Football Association has commenced Module II of the CAF Licence B Coaching Course at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, as part of its continued commitment to developing qualified coaches and strengthening football development across the country. A total of 25 participants are currently undertaking the final phase of the course, which consists of ten days of intensive contact sessions designed to deepen their technical knowledge and practical coaching expertise. The programme forms a vital component of the GFA’s structured coach education pathway, aimed at building a stronger technical foundation for the growth of Ghana football from the grassroots to the elite level. Participants are being guided through both theoretical and practical sessions by experienced CAF instructors, Abukari Damba, Charles Anokye Frimpong and Edward Gyamfi Acheampong. The instructors are focused on equipping coaches with contemporary coaching methodologies, tactical understanding, and practical tools necessary for effective player development, particularly at the grassroots and youth levels. Module II is scheduled to conclude on May 13, 2026. Following the contact sessions, participants will undertake a mandatory one-month internship as part of the certification process. Successful completion of both stages will qualify participants for CAF Licence B certification. GFA Communications
