Uncapped Ghana star, Kevin-Prince Boateng is set to miss out of the FA Cup final against Chelsea on Saturday due to an ankle injury.
The midfielder who scored a penalty during Portsmouth's semi-final victory over Tottenham, did not travel with the rest of the Pompey squad to London on Thursday.
Manager Avram Grant says the Ghanaian player is unlikely to be available for the Wembley showdown.
"Kevin has not trained this week and, at the moment, he will not play," said Grant.
"It is just an ordinary week for Portsmouth - we have only the eight injuries."
