Black Stars, The Gambia to hold press conferences and training ahead of AFCON 2027 Qualifier

The Black Stars of Ghana and the Scorpions of The Gambia will hold their mandatory pre-match press conferences and training sessions on Monday, September 28, 2026, ahead of Tuesday's 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Group C Qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz will address the media at 11:45am, with the team's official training scheduled for 10:30am. The first 15 minutes of Ghana's training will be open to the media.

The Gambia will have their press conference at 3:30pm, followed by their official training at 4:00pm, with the first 15 minutes also open to the media.

Ghana will face The Gambia on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 4:00pm at the Accra Sports Stadium in the second Group C fixture of the AFCON 2027 qualifiers.
