Black Stars open training in Accra

Ghana opened its Africa Cup of Nations training in Accra on New Year's eve as fifteen players reported for the opening day.

The Black Stars begun Wednesday afternoon's workout under the supervision of assistant coach Maxwell Konadu and a fitness trainer at the Lizzy Sports Complex in Accra.

Avram Grant's side will begin their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations campaign with an opening clash against Senegal in Group C.

The Black Stars are pitted with Senegal, South Africa and Algeria in next year's finals in Equatorial Guinea.

The tournament starts from 17 January to 8 February in Equatorial Guinea next year.
