The Black Queens secured an emphatic 3-0 win over Mauritius in the first leg of their second-round tie of the 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers on Thursday.
Abigail Kim opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Alice Kusi doubled Ghana's advantage in the 24th minute.
Benedicte Simon added a third goal in first-half stoppage time with a stunning long-range effort to put the Black Queens firmly in control.
Despite an improved performance in the second half, Mauritius failed to find a way back as Ghana held on for a commanding victory.
The result gives the Black Queens a significant three-goal advantage heading into the second leg.
Ghana will host Mauritius in the return fixture on Tuesday, October 13, as they aim to advance to the next round of the African qualifiers for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
