Jonina Ladies and Sea Lions are still in search of their first win in the season whilst Hasaacas Ladies travel to Accra as guest of Berry Ladies on Matchday four of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League. Army Ladies have a date with Essiam Socrates hoping to extend their lead on the table.

Here is the preview of all the games in the Southern Zone:

BERRY LADIES VRS HASAACAS LADIES.

One of the biggest games of the season is upon us already when defending zonal champions, Hasaacas ladies travel to the capital for the first time this season to honor their week four game against Berry Ladies.

Berry Ladies are on the back of a vital away win as Hasaacas Ladies last visit to Madina AstroTurf ended in a 2-1 defeat.

Both Berry Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies are unbeaten in the league and Saturday will determine whether any of them will suffer their first defeat of the season.

SOCCER INTELLECTUALS VRS SEA LIONS

Strugglers Sea Lions will travel to Ajumako to engage uninspiring Soccer Intellectuals in a regional derby. Intellectuals have suffered two straight defeats after their opening day win over newbies Jonina Ladies whereas the Premier League returnees are winless and have conceded most goals this season after match week 3.

Though the form of the two teams is nothing to write home about, matches between them produce some exciting and neck wracking moments. On most occasions Intellectuals have triumphed and this weekend’s clash may not be an exception.

LADYSTIKERS VRS POLICE

Lady Strikers will host Police Ladies at the Robert Mensah Stadium in another epic clash. Police Ladies come into the game with massive motivation, having won their last two encounters against Soccer Intellectuals and debutants Jonina Ladies.

Despite their struggles last season, the visitors have amassed six out of the nine points from the three matches played. Strikers on the other hand, managed an away draw in their first game and won at home in week two to give them 4 points.

The home side have had enough rest after their away game against Hasaacas Ladies was postponed.

Ben Fokuo's side will seek to amass at least one point at home to cushion their surge on the log.

ARMY LADIES VRS ESSIAM SOCRATES

Army Ladies aim to extend their unbeaten run against Essiam Socrates in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League at the Teshie Mats Park on Sunday. The security side is confident of sweeping all three points against a struggling opponent who are yet to win a single game after match-week three.

Essiam Socrates despite coming into the clash as underdogs are confident of giving the Super Cup champions a tough test.

The visitors, Essiam currently sit in eighth place in the Southern Zone table with one point whereas Army Ladies occupy the first position - hope to extend the margin.

JONINA LADIES’ VRS FAITH LADIES Finally in the Southern Zone, newly promoted club Jonina Ladies will battle for the points against Faith Ladies on match day 4 at the Antie Aku park. Jonina ladies are struggling in the league and lie 7th with no point, and will be looking forward for their first win over Faith ladies. Meanwhile Faith ladies are pressing to extend their fine performance on match day 4 despite playing on the road. They have 5 points from their first 3 games of the season and lie 5th on the league table.
