Bechem United will lock horns with Legon Cities at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Saturday. The Hunters who are gunning for the title are in dire need of the points to keep their title hunt alive after losing 2-1 to Medeama SC on Matchday 30.

Bechem United are 3rd in the log with 48 points – four points behind leaders Aduana FC and two behind second placed Medeama SC having won two, drawn two and lost one in their last five League matches.

Legon Cities have also won 4 of their last five matches to improve their placing in the League table to an impressive 10th spot with 40 points.

The Royals last lost in the League was a 5-1 drubbing against Dreams FC but have the likes of Michael Ampadu, Adamu Amadu, Kofi Kordzi, Ibrahim Sung, Ebenezer Armegah and Nicholas Mensah to turn things around.

They have won only one of their last three matches on the road after recovering from a 3-2 loss to Bibiani Gold Stars to beat Karea United 2-0 at the CAM Park before losing 5-1 to Dreams FC at Dawu. A win in Bechem will be a major boost to their chances of survival but that will come at a cost following the impressive home record of the host at the Fosu Gyeabuor Park.

Coach of Bechem United Kassim Mingle Ocansey will fall on Clinton Duodu, Kofi Abgesimah, Hafiz Wontah Konkoni, Isaiah Nyarko, Joseph Kinful and Francis Twene.

Still on Saturday, Accra Lions will lock horns with leaders Aduana FC at the Accra Sports stadium. Lions have lost 6 of their last 7 matches in the betPawa Premier league going into the match against the League leaders.

Accra Lions sit in 9th place with 41 points having won 1 of their last five matches and recorded 4 losses. With two wins, two draws and one loss in their last five outings, Aduana FC lead the League table with 52 points from 30 round of matches.

Their last encounter in the 2021-22 season was a four goal thriller (2-2) at the Accra Sports stadium.

Baba Salifu Apiiga, Abass Samari Salifu, David Oduro, Dominic Amponsah, Samuel Gyimah and Issa Ibrahim are available to start for Ibrahim Tanko’s Accra Lions with Kwame Adom Frimpong, Sam Adams, Shaibu Iddrisu, Elvis Opoku, Stephen Anokye Badu, Kelvin Obeng and Zakari Mumuni expected to line up for the League leaders.

The game will be broadcast live on StarTimes Adepa channel 247 at 6pm.
