Ghana international Andre Ayew has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for August after making a bright start in his debut season with Swansea.
The new signing from Marseille together with Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini, who has been named Manager of the Month were the big winners.
Ayew has helped Swansea to occupy fourth after taking eight points from their opening four matches.
The Ghana international Ayew, who has been a key figure, scoring three goals so far, Swansea is enjoying his fantastic start.
"It is a good feeling but it is thanks to the whole squad," Ayew said.
"I have just come to a new league, a new culture, but thanks to the guys I have settled in well. It is a good beginning but there is work to be done."
