AshantiGold moved to fifth on the table after managing a 1-0 home win over New Edubiase at the Len Clay Stadium on Monday in a rescheduled fixture.

The match-day-17 fixture back in January at the same venue had to be called off minutes before the kick off due to crowd troubles.

But on Monday, the Miners needed a 12th minute header from Sadat Karim to beat Edubiase and stay a point behind their opponents who are in fourth.

Sadat rose above the Edubiase defence to connect Emmanuel Adjetey’s pull out to beat goalkeeper Collins Addo.
