FC AshantiGold ’04 secured an impressive 3-0 away victory over Future Stars FC at the Ejisu Okese Park on Sunday, propelling them to a commanding seven-point lead at the top of the Zone Two table. Raphael Ankamah opened the scoring in the 41st minute, followed by David Gyamfi in the 54th, and Samed Yakubu sealing the win in the 86th minute. AshantiGold now boasts 49 points from 23 matches.
Meanwhile, Ebusua Dwarfs' inconsistent run persisted as they were held to a 1-1 draw by an in-form Sekondi Rospak SC at the Nduom Sports Complex. This result means Dwarfs have dropped points in four of their last five league matches (W1, D3, L1), significantly hindering their title push. Ishmael Bart Addison gave Dwarfs an early lead in the 8th minute, but Francis Havor quickly responded for Rospak just five minutes later. Ebusua Dwarfs remain second on 42 points after 23 games.
In another Zone Two clash, Sefwi All Stars FC ended their three-game goal drought and losing streak with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over newly promoted Nsuopun Fidelity FC at the Juaboso Mampiobo Town Park. Musah Adamu netted the decisive goal in the 62nd minute after a goalless first half as Sefwi All Stars moved to 38 points from 23 matches this season.
