Referees under the Ashanti Regional Football Association (ARFA) have successfully completed their annual fitness test and written examinations ahead of the 2025/26 Division Two League season.

The exercise, which forms part of the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) standard pre-season requirement, was held to assess the physical readiness and technical competence of match officials before the start of the new campaign. Referees from all districts within the region participated in the test, which was conducted under the supervision of ARFA’s Referees Committee.

The session featured endurance runs, agility drills, and performance assessments, followed by a written examination to evaluate the referees’ understanding of the Laws of the Game. Successful candidates will be cleared to officiate in the upcoming Division Two League and other ARFA-sanctioned competitions.

The Ashanti Regional Football Association is expected to kick off the 2025/26 Division Two League in the coming weeks, with the newly certified referees set to play a key role in maintaining fair play and professionalism throughout the season.
