Berekum Arsenal picked up a rare win, beating Liberty Professionals 2-1 at the Golden City Park on Sunday in the Glo Premier League.

The win lifts the Gunners to third from bottom and a point away from enjoying life outside the relegation zone.

Joseph Masel scored the opener for Arsenal after five minutes but thirteen minutes later, Liberty Professionals drew level through Kennedy Ashia.

Arsenal were back in front through Francis Aggrey in the 24th minute and the scoreline stayed the same till the final whistle.

The Gunners have seven more matches to save their campaign.
