Andre Ayew will be unavailable when Ghana take on Togo in Wednesday's final qualifying match for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
The attacker is out injured with Black Stars team doctor Baba Adam confirming the news of his injury.
Ayew picked up the injury during Ghana's 1-0 defeat to Uganda in Kampala last Saturday.
Ghana, who lead the Group E table need a win or a draw against Togo in Tamale to reach the finals of next year's tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
