Defender Alexander Djiku has been ruled out of Tuesday's 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Group C Qualifier against The Gambia after limping off in the defeat to Cote d'Ivoire.
The Spartak Moscow defender, who captained the side in Bouaké, was forced off in the 71st minute with an injury during Thursday's loss to Cote d'Ivoire.
Djiku has since returned to his club for further assessment and will miss the game against The Gambia.
The Black Stars return home to face The Gambia on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 4:00pm as they seek to bounce back from the opening day defeat.
